OLC X LUNGTA
CLOTHING DESIGN FOR
As part of Oversized Lifting Club’s Lungta project in collaboration with the Danish Mental Health Foundation (Psykiatrifonden), I designed a clothing graphic that was applied to both a hoodie and a T-shirt.
The visual language is inspired by Tibetan religious and cultural symbolism, translating themes of spirituality, strength, and inner balance into a contemporary garment.

Concept Exploration
I originally hand-drew the LUNGTA lettering as a personal challenge, allowing me to work in a more intuitive and expressive way before refining it digitally.
I wanted the typography to carry a raw, organic character, reflecting the calm and peaceful philosophy at the core of the LUNGTA project. At the same time, I introduced sharper edges and irregular forms to reference the harsh mountain landscapes of Tibet, symbolizing the strength, energy, and effort required to evolve and move forward.
I also incorporated the horse element to reference Lungta, which translates to “wind horse” in Tibetan culture - a symbol of movement, strength, and spiritual energy.
Here are some of the sketches I created during the development process, including early explorations and the drawing I developed into the final typographic form.
